Caribbean Island Spice

There are a complex collection of spices that give a robust aroma and deep flavor, which assists in the comfortable delivery of this really hot chili. Great complimentary flavors make it easy for anyone to enjoy this flavor if they are inclined to like a little heat.

Caribbean Spicy Chicken or Tofu Goujons

Take 500g of gram flour and mix it with water and pureed mango to make a thick creamy batter. The batter needs to be thick. Add 2 tablespoons of the spice mix. Then heat up some vegetable oil in a wok. Heat enough oil to deep fry goujons.

Using slithers of chicken breast pat dry and adds to the batter mix. The batter should sizzle when added to the wok. Fill the wok with more goujons, when they are brown and raise to the surface remove them and place them on some kitchen paper.

Create as many as you like and serve with freshly made mango pulp and yogurt dip. This great finger food is very moreish. Despite its intense heat, you will find it impossible to just eat one or two!
